Guillaume BAILLY obtained a PhD in Geography at the University of Rouen under the supervision of Michel Bussi. He was in charge of research and courses at the University of Rouen as well as project manager at the National Park of la Vanoise. The work he has conducted until now concerns his thesis and research programmes in which he has taken part around three main axes: the politics of town and country planning and forms of inter-community cooperation in France, risk management, territorial planning, cartography and citizenship. He favours a methodology which brings together spatial and ground observation in France and overseas. Since September 2010, he is UVSQ Lecturer at the UVSQ where he teaches in the Master SETE Programme “Sustainable Construction and Eco-living”. Guillaume is involved in French ANR research programmes such as RESILIS: a Re-search Programme in Sustainable Towns and Marine Inundation Hazard Exposure Modeling and also Social, Economic and Environmental Vulnerability Assessment in regard to global changes (MISEEVA).
